Though therapy is very often two or three people — a therapist and an individual or a dyad — more people can be involved in a single therapy setting. We may join a group in which a handful of group members are all practicing with a similar or shared experience. We may seek support in nonmonogamous relationships with multiple partners. We may pursue family therapy with multiple family members together. Therapy can even happen in very large groups through the coming together of historically splintered ethnic groups, people living through civil unrest, war, and uprising, and populations exposed to systemic harm and oppression in various ways. What's an experience of group therapy or group healing that impacted you personally?
