Expanding good will in the world may be a practice that we can engage in, return to, and hone by focusing our attention on many different beings, on ourselves, on family, friends, and acquaintances, on those we dislike and people with whom we disagree morally, on animals, plants, nonliving objects, and at times with all beings. Who are you sending good will to today? [image description: A heart stands under a tree and smiles up at a squirrel holding a nut in the branches of a tree whose leaves have all fallen off. The color scheme suggests colder weather. Text reads: "I want animals to be well."]
