Coming out is a multidimensional effort that so many of us face, publicly and privately, every single day, in myriad contexts and with myriad layers to navigate. No matter where we are in the world or what our coming out story is today, a wide range of us for a wide range of reasons are perhaps always having to practice and enrich our skills and resilience to live courageously and safely in externally and internally hostile systems and generational, institutional, and familial cycles of harm, hurt, rupture, repair, and healing. In fact, just existing, with all the effort it takes to be a person and stay alive, is already a powerful act of resistance, self-love, and cosmic loving kindness. What's one thing that you are doing today to survive? What's one thing you're doing today to thrive? [image description: A heart stands looking out at the viewer with a somber facial expression. The heart is wearing a BDSM collar and leash. Text reads, "In many ways, it's still hard to be open about my sexuality."]
