Both the physiological and the psychological processes that we call emotion are contagious. We catch each other's feelings like we catch colds. In this way, what we feel is understood as less personal and more universal. Fear is here. Happiness is in this space with us. Anger is among us. Yet, what we do with emotions when they come into and arise through us can be very personal. What helps you recognize and witness the universal nature of emotions?
