All over the world, people right now are having different relationships to cold weather. It might be coming soon. It might be ending shortly. It might be constant or it might be rare. We all have relationships to the cold through a variety of other pathways as well. Some of those pathways are physical, such as cold drinks and foods, cold places like cellars and mountaintops, or cold therapies like ice packs and cold water plunges. Some of those pathways are metaphoric, such as experiencing coldness in social relationships, having a sickness or "common cold," or having a cold or frozen heart. In all of these cold parts of our lives, we can learn to allow, to be curious about, and to nourish our experiences in order to feel inner peace and make decisions that are right for us regarding the cold. What is a favorite practice that helps you enjoy one of life's cold spots?
