The words "we need to talk" can bring up a lot of different thoughts, feelings, and sensations. There may be all kinds of reasons that people need to get together and talk something over. And to some degree past experiences of and imagined hopes for different conversations come with us into each present time conversation. We may really benefit from taking some time to connect with ourselves before we dialogue with others.
