Sometimes we are each other's greatest distractions. When the rest of our lives are hard, boring, scary, and uncomfortable, we can go deep into a connection that brings relief from drudgery and pain. And when we connect in this way, sometimes we do so without much awareness or accountability to the rest of our lives and the world around us. What's one way that you practice balance between new or joyful connection and the rest of life? [image description: Two hearts stand near each other. One heart has a hand raised as if about to make a comment. The other heart standing at the center of the scene is holding a martini in one hand, joyfully speaking to the other heart, and letting food on a plate in its other hand drop to the floor where a dog is eating what has fallen. Text reads: "Let me tell you everything."]
