We do not always have an anatomical self-image. Our dream-self, perhaps like Basquiat's Fallen Angel, may be abstract, bright, and energetic, without being realist. The heart itself is often invoked symbolically as the site of our true being. What symbols, abstractions, or concepts do you use to express your core self? [image description: A cartoon homage to, commentary on, and parody of Fallen Angel in which the human-like figure is rendered as a heart. A heart with a halo or crown of thorns, wings, and abstract designs all around looks out at the viewer. Text reads: "Fallen Angel."]
