Difference, despite what we may have been taught, is one of life's greatest gifts to us. Difference can give us access to curiosity, wonder, and awe, as well as experiences of learning and appreciating. Without difference, the world could be pretty dull. Yet, for a variety of reasons it may make sense to approach difference with caution, especially when difference occurs along with forces that hurt us. How do you approach difference when it is challenging to do so?
