linking verb. n. a state of existence connecting what is to how it is

When we get together with others, we can sometimes suddenly sound different to ourselves — and maybe especially when we're with certain others. At the same time, others can sound different to us in different settings and contexts. The sounds of self and other and the qualities of those sounds undulate as we move through the world, and yet all of how we collectively sound is true and real. Wherever you are in this moment, what does your mind sound like to you? What does your heart sound like? And your body?
