Noticing places where we are similar and where we are different can happen in a flash, through all of our different senses — sight, hearing, taste, smell, texture, and internal sensing, including with our hearts. Other times, we take a longer pause to see even more. All of these observations can happen with and without words to describe and deepen understanding. What's something you've observed this week about a close connection of yours? What words helped you describe what you saw? In what ways were words unnecessary or problematic to deepening understanding?
