When feelings, emotions, and moods rise up between us, we can at times feel a rush to shift, alleviate, and extend the experience with words. Other times, we may feel stuck in needing to say something, to use some words to help keep each other aware of what is happening inside each of us, but not knowing how or being ready or able yet to use words to support the interaction.
