Our relationships with dead people are often, though not always, wordless. Words, too, may come into our ongoing relationships with lost loved ones, ancestors, and deceased, historical heroes. And yet, there is often an aspect (possibility the deeper aspect) of these relationships that is not contained in speech or language. Instead, we may feel these connections in our bodies and our hearts. Or at an atomic level, we may have transpersonal and transcendental experiences with the other side of life. We may travel through the thin veil via séance, religion, spiritual practice, metaphysics and other philosophies, space exploration, deep sea exploration, and the sciences broadly. Or, we may simply stay in relationship with others within our own minds and thoughts, any place, any time, coming back to presence within ourselves and with the life of those who've died that continues on in our inner visions. In what ways are you in relationship with dead people? [image description: A heart stands on a hill nearby a gravestone where a flower is growing. The heart is holding another flower with both hands and is facing away from the gravestone, smiling up at the sky. In the sky there is a single cloud and on top of the cloud sits another heart that is reclining, legs out front, arms and hands stretched out behind it, smiling back down at the heart on the ground.]
