Even if we have to pause many times in the pursuit of just one activity in a single hour, we may very well need all of those stops and starts. Taking breaks is a vital part of strengthening and recovery. When we give ourselves time in between active practice we can integrate, learn, and regenerate. What are some reasons that you take breaks?

Throughout the pandemic, I have posted messages on my Facebook wall that I needed to hear myself or that I imagined others may be needing to hear. Again and again, these messages spurred collective online processing of a range of challenges and lows and bright spots of living through the pandemic.
