Our bodies are constantly moving. They move through the wider world in an endless variety of ways, all while internally pumping blood and oxygen from head to toe, digesting food, and sending electrical signals through complex nerve systems — in total, a dizzying ecosystem of biophysics, biochemistry, and psyche. Even while we rest, meditate, and sleep we hum with activity. With all of this movement we can sometimes also experience friction. We may have a stomach ache on a day we planned to go for a long hike. We may be hungry before an important meeting. We may get some tough family news while out on a hot date. And from these moments of friction we sometimes begin to move in new ways. How has the way your body moves changed? Text reads: "Puffin Meditation."]
