What we think is true and what we say is true is sometimes also or even mostly aspirational, embedded in desire more than function, the truth of fantasy and yearning more than occurrence and outcomes. At the same time, even when longing is unconscious, wanting something is not a less real experience than attaining it. What is a real desire in your life right now?
