Therapy can be many, many things. We may go for a period of time in our lives having one particular idea about what therapy is or how it goes or looks, or not much thought about it at all. Or, we may be aware that therapy can look like many things beyond someone lying on a couch speaking to a mostly silent therapist. And we may still not truly know just how many ways therapy can actually go. Yet, our beliefs about therapy are just what they are, not right or wrong, just present-time beliefs.
